Jesus Christ - The Early Years

Review Question: Personal and subjective.

1. Question 1 is in 6 parts.

(1) An infant with all the needs of any baby, but, with the nature of Deity.

(2) A child that grew in stature and wisdom, developing as any child, but, with Deity in His nature.

(3) As an adolescent developing into the teen years, and revealing the characteristics of Deity that would later be seen in Him
as a teenager, young man and adult.

(4) Cognizant of who He was and His mission, revealing His knowledge of the scriptures as He conversed with the leading theologians
of the day in the temple, and, understanding that He must be about His "Father’s business."

(5) Obedient to His parents, (if Joseph) was still alive) continually growing in stature and wisdom, and no doubt, revealing more
and more of the Deity in His nature, as He progressively developed into young manhood, God in the flesh.

(6) He was beyond any doubt an efficient, hard working carpenter, no doubt extremely efficient and gifted in His trade, with a
great sense of humor, honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic, for, He would not be less in man, that He created man to be.
In the absence of any mention of Joseph, (Joseph may have died), there is every likelihood that He had to take on the
responsibility of being head of the family. In it all, and through it all, He was, God in the flesh.

2. That He had knowledge and understanding of who He was, and of His mission on earth. That He had an excellent knowledge and
understanding  of the scriptures, so that He could converse with the leading Doctors of Theology of His day, both asking questions and
answering theirs, holding their attention, and no doubt challenging them as He did so.

3. That He had understanding as to who He was, and who His real "Father" was. He revealed insight as to why He was on earth, and
his understanding of His mission, which was, His "Father’s business".

4. He was subject both to His earthly parents who had been appointed as such by God the Father, and He was subject to His Heavenly
Father, practicing obedience in both areas, and all of this from God in the flesh. He totally identified with mankind in every respect.
