Answer Key

Jesus Christ - His Ascension and Return

I.

1. Subjective, but, should include some comments concerning the relevant signs of the times with respect to a one world order and a globalization coming into view

II.

1. Visible for all to see.

     (1) His second coming will be a visible coming, for He, Himself assures us in Matthew 24:27, as the lightning shines from the east to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of
         man be.

2. From Daniel Chapter 7, II Thessalonians 2:1-4, Matthew 24:29-30, and, Revelation 13, all indicate that the church will be being persecuted by the one world order which is ruled by
anti-Christ at the time that Christ returns.

3. According Revelation Chapter 19:11, He returns on a white horse. (We don’t know if that is a literal white horse, or if John is describing as best he can, what he see in his vision.
We will take the scriptures literally at this point, with the understanding that our understanding is incomplete. It would appear likewise that His coming will be an instantaneous
appearing and a progressive coming, inasmuch as when He ascended into the heavens, the angel said, this same Jesus whom you see ascending into the heavens, shall so come in
like manner as you have seen Him leave.

4. Because, in Acts 2:4, we find the Holy Spirit coming upon the believers who were gathered in the Upper Room. That was in fulfillment of Acts 1:8. The coming of the Holy Spirit
at Pentecost is not synonymous with the second coming of Christ.

5. According the scriptures, the dead in Christ will rise first and then those who are alive and remain at His coming will be caught up to meet Him in the air. (See I Cor 15 and
    I Thess 4)

6. At the second coming of Christ, when the dead in Christ are raised, their spirits will be reunited with an eternal, immortal body. All the scriptures would tend to indicate that we are
given the same type of body upon our resurrection as Christ had upon His.

7. We shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, according to the scriptures.

(a) That represents the amount of time it takes for the expression of the eyes to change.

8. According to Revelation 19, the Lord Jesus Christ will destroy those who are His enemies, at His return.

9. After the return of Christ, there is a one thousand year reign, by the Lord Jesus Christ, on planet earth with his raptured and resurrected saints. After the one thousand years there
is the great white throne judgement, and a new heavens and a new earth. After which time, it would appear, that those who had submitted themselves to the Lordship of Jesus
Christ during His earthly reign, shall be sealed in Christ and be the inhabitants of the new earth. That being the case, they will continue on propagating the new earth, sealed in their
relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, and Satan will have lost and God will have won, and His eternal plan, from the very beginning, will continue throughout the rest of
    eternity.

10. Subjective.

11. Subjective.

12. After or at some point during the tribulation period with Anti-Christ and the Mark of the Beast. But, after the Mark of the Beast has been refused by the Saints.

13. Both speak of persecution and tribulation of the people of God.
