The Holy Spirit - (His Work)

Scripture Reading: John 14:1 - 16:33

Memory Verses:    John 14:16 - 18

Lesson Objective: To understand the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer and the un-believer.

Introduction: Through earlier lessons, we have learned that the Holy Spirit is a person - - not an it or just an influence or force.  He is the third member of the Triune Godhead, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  As such He is co-equal with God the Father, and God, the Son, Jesus, The Christ.  As such He exercises both influence and power.

We have studied the emblems or symbols that represent Him in Scripture.  Now, we examine His work in both the life of the Believer and the un-believer.

As we more clearly understand His ministry, we can better appreciate His ministry, and learn how to more fully cooperate with Him.
