           (10)    John 11:1 - 47

(1) Determined in discussions with both Mary and Joseph that this Jesus of Nazareth was supernaturally born of a virgin. (2) Talked to the ruler of a marriage feast in Cana at which Jesus of Nazareth turned water into wine. This supernatural, miraculous feat was attested to not only by the ruler of the feast, but by the servants attending the guests as well. (3) Talked to twelve of His followers who attested to the fact that by His spoken word He calmed a storm at sea. (4) Spoke with one from Gadera who had been inhabited by a large number of demons to the point that he could not live in normal society and had been bound with chains and spent his time living in graveyards until Jesus cast all the demons out of him and he returned to his right mind. The man was well known by many people in the area who knew him in his demonized condition as well as his sane condition, after the demons were cast out by Jesus of Nazareth. (5) Found several people who had been healed of their blindness by Jesus of Nazareth, not the least of which was one by the name of Bartimaeus. These supernatural healings are well known and well acknowledged by people who knew those who had been healed of their blindness. Found a young man, who had been born blind from birth, who was supernaturally healed of his blindness as was attested to by both of his parents, as well as rulers in the local religious movement. (6) Found one who had been both dumb and deaf, healed by this Jesus of Nazareth, as well as one who was paralyzed who had been brought by four friends to see Him and had to be delivered down through the roof in order to get him in the presence of Jesus, who upon being presented to Jesus was healed of his paralysis. (7) Discussed with several hundred, among thousands, that were fed supernaturally by Jesus with five loaves and two fishes.  (8) Discussed with eye witnesses the fact that Jesus walked on water and empowered Peter, one of His followers, to do likewise. (9) Discovered that one named Lazarus had been raised from the dead, supernaturally, by Jesus of Nazareth. There is no question as to the fact that Lazarus was dead, a fact attested to by his immediate family as well as many townspeople and religious leaders and rulers in the area. He had been entomed, and on the fourth day after his death, was raised back to life, by this Jesus of Nazareth.

2.    As to events and witnesses at His trial and execution.

     (1) John 19:25 - 27

     (2) Matthew 27:54

     (3) John 19:31 - 35

I discussed the execution by crucifixion with the Roman Centurion who was in charge of the crucifixion detail as well as with the Roman soldiers who were members of the crucifixion detail. All, without exception attest to the fact, along with a variety of religious leaders and townspeople that this Jesus was indeed crucified as a common criminal and did in fact die on the execution stake.Interestingly enough, I could find no legal grounds for His execution.

3.  With respect to the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth after His death from crucifixion, the following information is submitted from eye witnesses who saw Him, alive, after his death on the cross.

(1) The first person to see Him in His resurrected body was one Mary Magdalene.

(2) Two travelers walking to Emmaus testify that Jesus joined them in their walk and in conversation in His resurrected body.

(3) He appeared to His Disciples less one Thomas, in an upper room after His tomb was discovered to be empty.

4. That, He was declared to be the Son of God with power, by His resurrection from the dead!

I discussed the matter of His execution, through crucifixion, with His mother Mary, Mary the wife of one Cleophas, Mary Magdalene - a woman who traveled with His teaching group, and various of His followers, especially one called John. I discussed the execution by crucifixion with the Roman centurion who was in charge of the crucifixion detail as well as the Roman soldiers who were members of the crucifixion detail. All attest to the fact, along with various other religious leaders, and townspeople that this Jesus of Nazareth was indeed crucified as a common criminal and died on the execution stake.

There is a common teaching that Jesus of Nazareth was resurrected from the dead after His execution. List all eye witnesses you can who attest that they saw Him alive after His execution.

Investigation reveals that evidently the first person to see Him in His resurrected body was Mary Magdalene, followed by His disciples. At some point in time He appeared to Peter alone and then some five hundred other citizens of the city and areas surrounding Jerusalem.  There was an event after the resurrection of Jesus, where His disciples who had been fishing saw Him on the seashore and joined Him for breakfast. Having observed Him eat with them in the upper room as well as by the seashore, and having seen Him materialize and dematerialize passing through walls at will, there was no doubt in their mind that this Jesus of Nazareth was resurrected from the dead.

Briefly summarize your findings.

There can be no doubt that Jesus of Nazareth did miracles which truly can only be ascribed to the supernatural power of God. The manner of His death accords with prophetic scripture. Signs and wonders during His life and at His death are inexplicable in the natural. His resurrection from the dead is too validated by credible witnesses and evidences to be false. Had the resurrection story been a hoax, those perpetrators of such a hoax would never have allowed themselves to be crucified and /or martyred to sustain the hoax. There can be no doubt that this Jesus of Nazareth was resurrected from the dead.

Write any conclusions you have made.

Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ! The promised Messiah of Israel as spoken of by the prophets, He is the Son of God as verified by the resurrection from the dead and the many lives of those who were changed by His life, death and resurrection. Those who saw Him crucified and then saw Him in His resurrected body, as well as the countless millions of lives that have been changed by Him, mine included, leave no doubt that Jesus, from Nazareth, is the Messiah.
